Hindu Lord Shiva Nataraja Statue
brass shiva nataraja statue

shiva nataraja statue brass
Shiva Nataraja Brass Statue
Nice size for a great price

Full metal statue

Weight: 3.5 pounds (1.36 kilo)
Height: 9 inches (22.86cm)
Base: 2 inches deep x 4 inches wide (5.08cm x 10.16cm)

This statue is beautifully detailed and hand pounded. A honey golden color 100% metal statue.

Hindu Shiva dances in flames in this beautifully hand finished brass full metal heavy statue.
The Lord dances through flames representing dancing through life.

Shiva, Hindu deity and Lord of the Dance, in a front-facing position, legs firmly planted as he gazes outward. This less-common representation is reminiscent of 11th c. Chola pieces.

Shiva is the source of all movement within the cosmos, represented by the arch of flames. The dance releases humans from the lower self or ego and an attachment ro the physical world.

As Nataraja (Sanskrit: Lord of Dance) Shiva represents apocalypse and creation as he dances away the illusory world of Maya transforming it into power and enlightenment.

Here, the Lord Shiva dances through the flames of enlightenment.

Heavy, high quality full brass metal art work.
