Irish Morríghan or Morrigan Statue
13 inch high (33.02 cm) Red-Black Resin Statue
also known in some texts as Mórrígan, the Great Queen (aka Morrígu, Morríghan, Mor-Ríoghain) is a figure from Irish mythology who appears to have once been a goddess. She is often interpreted as a triple goddess and is associated with destruction and fury.
This beautifully detailed depiction of the winged Morrigan holding a dove overhead shows her in full warrior garb. She holds her sword and is accompanied by the snake of renewal and regeneration. The back of this statue is as beautifully crafted as the front. Designed by artist Maxine Miller, She inspires confidence and strength. Cascading feathers down her back and a sun disk in the middle supports this Phantom Queen on her journey toward wholeness. A breathtaking work of art in red-bronze hand finished resin.
